Meet the Counselor

 

Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…it’s learning to dance in the rain.

 

Hello.  I am Patrice Dunn, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S).

I have over 30 years’ experience in the field of education, and I am currently pursing my Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University. I have a BS in Health Education from The Ohio State University and a M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of North Texas.

 

I own Real Life Counseling and Consultation, a private practice located in Little Elm, Texas.  Previously, I worked as a middle school counselor and later a district-wide counselor for the parents.

 

I am passionate about educating, empowering, encouraging, and enlightening individuals about what it takes for them to live their best lives.  I remind clients that their life is like a movie, and they are the STAR.  My approach of developing rapport, humor, and creativity to help individuals create the change they desire.

 

I will identify the issues, develop a plan, and keep it REAL. I am the TRUTH.
